Become a volunteer at Bath Hospital Radio during Volunteers’ Week

Have you ever thought of volunteering? More than 21 million people volunteer in the UK according to the organisers of the annual Volunteers’ Week which starts today.

At Bath Hospital Radio we are looking for new volunteers to help this small charity deliver its big aims. We need new volunteers who are interested in:

  • presenting programmes – you may want to present a live show or record a show. We need lots of new presenters with great ideas to entertain our listeners
  • visting wards and meeting patients at the Royal United Hospital in Bath. If you enjoy meeting and helping people, we want to hear from you.
  • looking after our library. We have thousands of songs on CD, vinyl and stored digitally. We need people who can help organise and develop our music library
  • joining our friendly committee. We need someone with fundraising skills to help us to cover our runnings costs which are £10 a day.
