Join us at the summer fete!

This Saturday (1 July) sees the annual Summer Fete organised by the Friends of the Royal United Hospital.

Volunteers from Bath Hospital Radio will be there from 1pm – 4pm outside the Lansdown Restaurant running our popular bottle stall which helps to raise much-needed funds to keep the station on air.

This year’s fete is rather special as the Friends of the RUH are marking their Diamond Jubilee year in 2017 so they have chosen the theme of the Fabulous Fifties.

As well as our bottle stall, you will find at the fete a variety of arts and crafts, books and homemade cakes on sale, plus a tombola and a raffle.

Like the Friends of the RUH, Bath Hospital Radio is a charity with a growing team of volunteers who visit the wards four times a week to meet patients, distribute free headphones and collect requests.

Bath Hospital Radio reaches out to patients across the RUH 24 hours a day as well as many more online at www.bathhospitalradio.org.uk

Proceeds from our bottle stall will go towards covering our running costs which are £10 a day.
